This x360 Getting Started Guide provides step-by-step information on preparing for, conducting, and managing the x360 process. 

The five phases below provide instructions and helpful hints on managing the x360 process. The printable companion document is available to download for timeline reference, action steps, and roles.

Pre-launch Phase

2 weeks prior to launch.

  • Complete x360 Survey Launch Form

 

  • For detailed instructions, follow these steps:

  • Locate the 3 Tabs at the bottom of the Form and begin with Tab 1 Process Steps.

  • Complete the Process Steps (first tab)​

  • Section 1 Identify the Survey Administrator and note the additional administrators in the Comments space.

  • Section 2 – The Survey Title will be seen by participants.

  • Section 3 – An additional “hidden” Administrator Title for the group can be added here if there is a need to distinguish survey cohorts.

Creating a hidden, more detailed Group name is helpful when there are simultaneous cohorts taking the survey.

Send us your most current logo with your launch form, or indicate that you do not want a logo included.
  • Section 4 – Identify the cohort Program Type that will be completing the x360 Surveys: Corporate, Executive Education, or Degree program through a university.

  • Section 5 – Identify the Norm Group Population for Participants who will be represented in the x360 reports for comparative purposes.

HELPFUL HINT

Cohort-level:

Reports for the individual will be compared against the average of the entire cohort itself.

Senior-level Cohort:

Senior and Executive Management—VP, SVP, General Manager, Partner, C-Suite—CIO, CTO, COO, CMO, Pres., CEO, Owner, Managing Partner, Managing Director

If participants are represented across different Norm Group Populations, consider creating multiple cohorts (see Sections 2 and 3 for naming the groups). You will need to create a separate launch form for each cohort that more closely aligns with the desired Norm Group population.

Mid-level Cohort:

Entry level—intern, analyst, associate, consultant, coordinator, representative; Mid-level Management—Manager, Senior Manager, Director
