Technical Environment Test Instructions
IMPORTANT!

Please share the instructions below with the party responsible for testing devices in the environment where the xCHANGE Simulation will be run. The devices must meet the Technical Requirements for the xCHANGE Simulation. Please note that these links and passwords are for technical testing only and must not be used for the live simulation. The links and passwords expire when the simulation ends.

Please perform this test:
​
a) Prior to the simulation,
b) On the same PCs that will be used on the day of the simulation, and
c) In the same room(s) that will be used on the day of the simulation.​
Test Instructions:

On all of the computers that will be used by participants:
a) Clear the cache for the browser which will be running the simulation.
b) Reboot the computer.​
c) Make sure the sound is on and set to approximately 50%.
On the player login screen conduct the Technical Test (see myworkshop platform for links and passwords):
a) Select the Tech Test server name (if not prepopulated with a one-click link).
b) Enter the Tech Test password (if not prepopulated with a one-click link).
c) Click LOGIN.
NOTE: If the full simulation screen is not visible—for example, if fields are cut off at the top or bottom of the screen—please instruct the tester to use the browser’s zoom settings to zoom out to 80%.

You will enter a simulated office environment and hear a 'tick' sound. Follow these 6 steps:
a) Click on the blue "+" on the smartphone (to open the ACTION CHOOSER).
b) Click on "Benchmarking" and then click on "CONFIRM".
c) You will hear 4 days 'tock' by (on the wall calendar).
d) You will see and hear a feedback message in a white cloud-shaped bubble.
e) Click OK, and you will see and hear a sequence of updates on the org chart and clipboard.
f) Click on the X in the bottom right corner, and then YES to quit.

If any issues occur during testing, please confirm that the internet connection is stable, reboot the PC, and ensure that the environment meets the Technical Requirements for the xCHANGE Simulation.
Note: After the test has run successfully, the technical environment should not be changed before the xCHANGE Simulation. Each computer should be rebooted immediately before the simulation begins to ensure that no other applications or background processes are using required memory.
